Chinese Language,
Culture and Missions Semester Abroad Program (CLCM) |
G. David Rath is a full-time professor at Christ's College. He holds a Ph.D. from Biola University in Inter-cultural Education and an M.A. in Systematic Theology from Wheaton College Graduate School. His new book, Socialization as Education in a Cross-cultural Revitalization Movement in Southern California, will be published with University Press of America this September. He is slated to teach the Intercultural Communication.
Scott Hovater is a full-time professor at Christ's College. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Studies and an M.A. in Educational Psychology from the University of Nebraska. He further holds a seminary degree in Missions from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary and has taught for over twenty years within a Chinese cultural context. He is slated to teach Christian Missions in the Context of Chinese Philosophy & Religions.
Jimmy Lin, a native of Taiwan, holds an M.A. in TESOL from Azuza Pacific University, a Certificate in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSL) from National Taiwan Normal University and a license from the Ministry of Education for teaching high-school Japanese. He is slated to teach our Chinese language courses.
Quentin Nantz is interim president of Christ's College and a full-time professor as well. He holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Miami and an M.S. in TESOL from Florida International University. He is slated to teach The History and Culture of Modern China.
