Levels of Giving

Every year, special recognition will be given to individuals who have donated to Christ’s College. Recognition will be given in the following categories:

1. Annual total donations below NT$ 10,000/year

Each year all individuals donating to the College, no matter the amount, will receive the biannual Christ’s College Life Magazine and a signed letter of thanks from the College President.

2. Friends of Christ’s College Membership (NT$ 10,000 to 49,999/year)

Individuals donating between NT$ 10,000 to 49,999 during one calendar year will be awarded a membership in Friends of Christ’s College Club and will receive the above mentioned items in # 1 plus recognition in the spring edition of the Christ’s College Life Magazine, a special member ID card which grants them free admission to school events for the following year, one free night’s accommodation in the CC Alumni House (reservations are required), and a special souvenir gift from the College.

3. President Level Membership (NT$ 50,000 to 99,999/year)

Individuals donating between NT$ 50,000 to 99,999 during one calendar year will receive all of the above mentioned items in #1 & #2 and will be awarded a membership in Friends of Christ’s College Club at President Level which entitles them to two additional free night’s accommodations (for a total of 3) in the CC Alumni House (reservations required), special recognition during Founder’s Day and an invitation to join the annual President’s Banquet (held the evening of Founder’s Day)

4. Founder Level Membership(donations above NT$100,000/year)

Individuals donating NT100,000 during one calendar year will receive all of the above mentioned items in #1, #2 and #3 and will be awarded a membership in Friends of Christ’s College Club at Founder Level which entitles them to another two additional free night’s accommodations (for a total of 5) in the CC Alumni House (reservations required), and an invitations to activities (such as special banquet) designed for founder’s circle members.

Membership Issues

1. Installation of Members: At the end of each year, calculations will be done for the total giving of individuals during the calendar year (January 1st to December 31st) and official memberships will be awarded according to the levels of giving. The memberships will be good for the upcoming year.? For example, an individual who gave more than NT$ 100,000 in the 2009 calendar year would receive his founder’s circle membership privileges during the 2010 calendar year.
   
2. Early Membership: In order to encourage early giving, individuals will be notified within a month after they have reached one of the levels (regular, President, Founder) and their membership will begin at that time and they can begin enjoying the benefits of that membership.? For example, someone who has given NT$ 50,000 by the end of June 2010 would be qualified to claim any benefits of the President level membership from July 2010 and throughout the 2011 calendar year.
   
3. Lifetime Membership: Over the course of the years, when an individual’s total giving exceeds 1,000,000 NT, he or she will be given a lifetime membership at the Founder level and special recognition and certificates will be given to that effect.? Official recognition of the individual’s lifetime membership will be presented during the Founder’s Circle Banquet and their names will be added to the Founder’s Circle plaques placed in the Archives Room and the Administration Building.
   

Donations from Churches and Other Organizations

Each year, churches and other organizations that have donated NT$100,000 or more will be recognized as a Supporting Church or Corporate Friend of the College and will be given the following appreciations:

1. Recognized in the spring edition of the Christ’s College Life Magazine as a Supporting Church or Corporate Friend of the College
2. A 10% discount on the use of school facilities for retreats and other functions (with the total discount not to exceed the amount of donation).
3. 5 free night’s accommodation in the CC Alumni House for any employees of the organization upon the recommendation of the head of the organization.
